One my trailer were triangle refelctor, but I think that te reflectors can be removed and be placed on a repro T-plate.

  2. In 1939 the Austin 10 saloon was produced in a new model. This model had some other features like another engine and grill.

Wartime produced Austin 10 saloon should be like this. It was also produced after the war, but these chassisnumber begin with GRQ instead of the prewar (and war?) GSI.

  3. The census number X5392500 refers to a contract S2490 and went to SS Cars (now Jaguar cars). The 82ZA70 will be it's re-registration in 1948 and this can be confirmed by the RLC Museum at Deepcut, but they want a fee to tell you this. Contract S2490 went from X5391001 to X5392640.

The two plates on the picture are from the same trailer. 80ZA54 is connected to contract S2490.

But my second trailer had a plate with only 82ZA70 on it. The original plates are lost. I was hoping someone had a simular plate with the same number on it.

  4. On my second trailer is a jeep connector bolted to the front. Does anyone know if this is original? It does have green paint under the red paint.

Second question is about the front bracket of the suspension. My other trailer has got a different one. Can someone tell me more about these? Is it another make?

  5. Hi Arjan,

I saw that on your Tilly is all new and looks fantastic, but I much prefer

All the original, even if such sheet is slightly creased.

The rear wasn't in good shape. The wood was bad, and while dismanteling the wood, most of it crubbled. The years of use and standing outside in Matla caused it had te be replaced. The rearbody was also a rebuild with lots of dents and holes.

In Malta the also are handy with parts that don't belong in the Tilly. They had replaced the engine and gearbox with something else. To make it fit they just cut out some parts from the floor and floorpanels.

  6. And have problem - position body, rear side,

i must start work from rear side, becouse work with cab be very, very problematic, and think front body side, be

good hard position for the doors gate.

But wood parts is out and I dont know dimension, start position for rear body side, sorry my English is very wrong,

please see on picture, thanks for help!

Isn't it risky to start from the rear?

We made some mods to our floor. Under the floorboard is a large space which can be used as extra storage. To access this I can lift the floor from te rear...
