Many thanks Richard, yes I have that illustration in my manual, it is the route the cable takes once it leaves the near side (left) pulley on its way to the front, there must be at least two more pulleys or fare leads to direct the cable down to chassis height and then to the front cable rollers regards jeff

Has anyone got a photo of the position of the two pulley wheels that direct the cable 180 degrees to the front regards jeff

Can someone explain the route of the winch cable when used at the front of the vehicle, I know it has guide rollers on the left front chassis, but it is from the rear near side drum to the front regards jeff
