Thanks all. It is stamped WD as shown and we can't find a date on it. It is a pale leather so most likely a 1950's one. Ebay has one for £90 but it isn't selling.......... Genuine offers welcome. I will pass them on.

I have been asked to identify and price an ex WD tool carry case - see here for photos https://www.facebook.com/Gumtree4x4Ltd/photos/pcb.5133408663375921/5134341749949279 It measures 13" x 5.25" x 8" (length x width x height) and is in good order. Neighbour is selling it for Age UK and wants to ask a sensible but fair price. All help greatly appreciated. Just surprised myself and managed to load a photo. Do have others if wanted.
