Do they not produce / sell those models anymore?  I was thinking of getting a couple to copy what you did and send to the families of the guys in the photos that you've been using.

I THINK that it was white with a Black C - I can ask the boys that are still with us but I suspect that they won't remember.

I'm the historian for the 284th and have several photos of their compressor trucks, you can find them in the photo galleries of the various companies at:

On the 284th's website, in the upper right is a search box, if you search for 'compressor' you'll see a handful of pictures of their trucks.  There may be others in the galleries that I just missed or hadn't gotten back to labeling them so they show up in the search.

I'm really curious, why did you choose to use the '284th' for your truck??
