These are great, but they don't prove the years they were in service or with whom. I cannot find any wartime documents or photos, & also cannot find any units who had them during the war, so these could still be a post war French conversion. Unless someone knows different?

Hi, I am trying to find out as much as I can about the CCKW bolster truck. I always thought that it was a post war French conversion when we used to see them in yards in the 80's, but I have been sent photos of them in the States in 1950 going to Korea. Also I have found photos of a restored example complete with aluminium boats "from Europe". Not conclusive, though. I think they were wartime. Can anybody confirm this with pictures? A grateful man.
