  2. Hi abn Deuce, I sold this one to a Gentleman in Jersey, bit of a saga actually, because he came over to buy the other one which had the gun and mount etc. But I had trouble with it just before I shipped it, I wasn't immediately able to fathom it, so phoned him and offered him this one, with the gun and mount swapped on to it.

He had seen both when over here and agreed, ironically enough, this one started playing up regulator wise on the way to The Ferry at Southampton, but as everything was booked and in hand , we proceeded with the shipment and sorted it out with the Gentleman later.

It is amazing, as they were normally trouble free trucks.

  3. This picture is of the two GMC CCKW 353 B's. XYJ 571, was our restoration, XYJ 577 was primarily restored by Mick with assistance from Rex Ward, I believe, the further titivated by My Brother and I , and A 50 ca. Gun, Ring and Mount added. XYA 577, is an 'Air Portable' Model which had been re-bodied with a later, French Made Body. It had a steel floor, whilst XYA 571 had a Wooden floor. Both now disposed of.
