    Fv432

I'm looking at building a 1:5 or 1:6 scale model or an FV432. loads of folks have built Tigers, T72's and Abrams etc etc etc to similar large scales but not many model later vehicles. Finding information is the hardest part. I had a week or two of "Lurking" on here, noted that a few folks owned 432's and figured that I might just find the help I needed. It's going to take some time to build as everything will have to be manufactured as one off's, thats after all the drawings have been completed but first comes the research.

Wow that was quick! Thankyou for the offer I'm just south of Bromsgrove. It'd be real handy if I could spend some time measuring up the 432 and ring the changes for the 434. Not sure how to proceed, I don't want to put you out or cause any inconvenience to you. If you could PM me your phone nmber and let me know the best time to call, then we can arrange a convenient time. Does that work for you?
  3. Thank you for the warm welcome. 1:1 does have it's attractions and 'm sure I'll get there in the end but for the time being the minature will have to do. Up till know I've not photographed any of my models, reason, I've had the model! This will be an altogether different project requiring castings to be designed and made so it'll be cool to compare the photo's of finished parts against the CAD models, I'll post the models and the comparisons as I progress. Once again many thanks for the warm welcome

I'm trying to locate information, photo's and works drawings for the FV432 MkII. I've been in touch with Bovington, who have supplied all the info that they have, but to be honest it isn't alot. I've scoured the internet and although there are some drawings floating around they are not to scale. Does anyone have any info etc on the FV432 that they would be happy to share or could point me in the direction or somewhere to get hold of some 3 or 4 view drawings? Barring all the above is there someone in Worcester area with a 432 that wouldn't mind me photographing and measuring the vehicle?
  5. Hi I'm Dave from Worcestershire, I don't currently own a MV (space and cash being the problems there). But I'm an avid modelmaker and I'm scouring everywhere for information on FV432's with a view to building a 1/6 or 1/5 accurate scale model. I'll drop a post in the research area. Nice to hook up with you guys
