The reason they are doing this is because they HAVE listened to the boys in the field for once!
IE having to dye their desert camo green while out in Afgan to give em a mish mash of colour so they dont stand out like a sore thumb when not in the sandy parts.
This was reported months ago on France 24 news channel when they were out on ops with the boys
It has nothing to do with how can we spend some money or what are the other nations doing.

does anyone know if dogs are allowed into W&P? Obviously on a lead if permitted

Dogs are allowed on site but please ensure they are kept on a lead and cleaned up after.

Has just come back to me that we had a rather large Rotty guarding our F.O.B last year so i should have known this already :n00b:

There should be mate. when you run the pointer over it it'll say attachments then click that.
If that don't work then i would advise breaking something, it wont help with the matter but i always find it relieves the anger of not being able to do something:)

In the reply box click the tab at the bottom to Go Advanced, Onced opened you should see a paper clip above the writing box. click on that then you can choose to add file from comp or Upload from URL

Ive a mate who works for a TV an Film Props company an hes said that on a police vehicle all lights should be covered over with a hood or black gaffer tape and the markings on the side should also be crossed out with black gaffer tape. This is also done even if its going on the back of a low loader

This site never fails to amaze me the amount of stuff these bods uncover that others have just left behind to rot.... Bump.. There's also some great normandy pics on there showing the underground tunnels an also a Nazi Eagle which i thought would have long been vandalized ..

In May 2008, after several years of painstaking research and investigation, five burial pits dating from the First World War were identified at Pheasant Wood, near Fromelles in northern France. The pits, which have lain undisturbed for more than 90 years, are believed to contain the remains of between 250 and 400 British and Australian soldiers, buried behind German lines after the Battle of Fromelles in July 1916.
The British and Australian governments have asked the Commonwealth War Graves Commission to oversee the operation to recover the remains and to create a new military cemetery at Fromelles for their reburial. The work begins in May 2009 and will be completed by July 2010.

Hello thought i should introduce my self.
The Names Alan an i love all things military. Main passion being the Royal Green Jackets from the 95th right up to the present day Rifles. I drive a lightweight landy. Am part of the east london dodgy squaddies(Rambos Mob) so no doubt i've met some of the HMVF mob an look forward to meeting many more.
Most of the time you will see replys from this name but more than likely that i'll be me boy Eddie:wave:

I agree!. The point i was trying to make is that this wasn't just done on a whim because we just want to look kool or because other Nation have done so so lets change ours. What really should have been done was to introduce this as a third set of dpm's.
