I kept all the screws and washers stamped ML, I have four screws replaced, but I have the originals with brown paint.

I just missed the toolbox, the complete exhaust, the stand and still the chain guard

j'ai gardé toute la visserie et rondelles estampillée ML  , j'ai quatre visses remplacées , mais j'ai les originaux avec peinture marron  .

 to the fork screw nut, appeared to paint brown on face , 

original paint, fixation spring saddle, petrol  cap, carburettor, head cylinder she was brown completely, and screw silver to the fork 

i speak from the petrol cap of course

On my James, he appears some brown paint, that he said it was painted, and this is a really veterans, no replica, participated from war.

That picture seems to be good, the James was young and when you look, some  were silver .. 

i like to let the cap fuel no paint , nor you ??

And , do not forget to put a suppressor  !!   (antiparasite in french )

  I saw many pictures from James ml wd, with different position, in effect that is not important for the function, BUT, for the WD the plug is  left......Monty, you must change that !!!!!     Please

when i was found this James ,  many modifications  on appeared , silencers , stand , pedal brake rear., chaine guard  , ...

I need to restor my James  now ,  it's necesary , i rebuild  her since twenty old years , and i have ride with , i have a new tires and canvas grip  , and mostly i have  bought a DKW  ks 200  number frame and engine   526348 , with aulways his paint military    sand  and brown green  and red ......
