  1. Dear Wally Dugan, Many thanks. Is it possible to find out where it was originally sent from the contract no. Is there any other avenues that I can pursue as you say there is no record card for it. Could it be significant that no record card exists for it. Regards, Dave
  2. Dear Wally Dugan & Landrover Nick, thank you for this info. Please excuse my ignorance as I am new to this area but what do you mean by 'contract' what area of the military would thi be assigned to? Regards, Dave
  3. Thanks for the photo. Does BP relate to the MP regards Dave
  4. Hi everyone, My name is Dave and I hail from Brighton, East Sussex. I primarily collect old land rovers and currently have 9! my son wants me committed. 2 of these I discovered were formerly military (a series 1 and a series 2)and so I have decided to restore one of these back to its roots. This is new territory to me and as I have not yet taken possession of the one I am concentrating on I do not possess a lot of information for it. This one is the series 1. I have been told it is 1956, the erm no is 93 BP 89 and the no below this is 57104820(which may be the chassis no?) Until I have the V5 this is all I've got so far so any info anyone out there can furnish me with it will be greatly appreciated. I hope to restore this to a condition so it does not embarras the old girl at shows and meetings where I hope to meet some of you. Bye for now, Dave
