My name is Patrick Johnson and I have been interested in the armoured forces of Germany and the Commonwealth for almost 50 years. Over the past 25 years I have collected the uniforms of many units including the 5th Canadian Armoured Division, a Division which fought in Italy and in NW Europe. Recently I published a book on the 2nd Canadian Armoured Regiment called "Push On, A Photographic History of the Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians), 1936-46. The book covers the unit from a pre-war cavalry regiment through mechanization and training in Canada and in England. Over 1450 images over 440 pages, with colour plates and uniform studies.
