Hi, I'm Brian. I retain an interest in Military vehicles from my REME days back in the 50's. I was a mechanic working on Centurion tanks, Ferrets, Saracens and their transporters.
Looking back to those times I wonder how I was ever strong enough to do the job. They were massive. Today I tinker with the vacuum cleaner, struggling to stretch the belt over the motor drive whilst nostalgically remembering replacing the Merlin engines when I was just a youth.
