Spokes I have got are 283mm long and they are still too long hub is original BSA hub 40 spoke Even when I do the spokes up to the limit(end of thread on spokes) the hub still moves sideways.

Hi all, not sure if I am in the correct area, as I am new to HMVF forum, I am looking for the correct length of the rear wheel spokes of a BSA airborne bicycle I have the original hub (40spokes) but I need the length for the spokes. Are they two different sizes in the rear wheel or just the one size and also how long are the spokes? thanks in advance Leon
