Join us at the REME Museum for our annual re-enactment and living history event "Wartime Britain" over the weekend of 11 - 12 May 2024! Come along for an amazing weekend exploring the equipment, military life and home front culture experienced by many during World War II.

Featuring:

WW2-era vehicles from the Museum’s Reserve Collection and from private collectors and enthusiasts around the country; Re-enactment/living history groups and individuals re-telling the history and stories of those who lived through World War II; Period costume; Live demonstrations of WW2 equipment, including firearms; Performances from the Lyneham Military Wives Choir.

Refreshments will be available to purchase from Crown's Café, which will only be open to visitors with a ticket to the event.

Free parking, including Blue Badge spaces on a first-come-first-served basis. We ask that you please reserve a parking space if you need one in advance! If you can, please consider travelling by alternative means.
