Join us with your military vehicles at Tameside's Armed Forces Day event celebrating our Armed Services Community. Military Vehicles are always popular at this event which attracts roughly 3,000 attendees a year. Any military Vehicles will need to be onsite before 11:40 to reduce risk to the public. Event information
At our annual event, musicians, singers and dancers will be providing entertainment including songs famous for their connection with the men and women in the British Armed Forces. Tameside based cadet units will also be showing off their drill skills in displays throughout the afternoon.
There’s also a whole host of activities to do. Test your strength on our climbing wall or your accuracy with laser clay pigeon shooting. Find out about military history through artefacts and memorability displays or find about your family’s armed forces connections. 23 organisations offering activities, information or support services attended in 2022, so there is plenty to do.
