MVPA insurance cancellation:  Do you know the reason?  There was a member wide email explaining the occurance that scared off the insurance companies.  Apparently at a affiliate group show, a personal firearm was left unattended in the cab of a MV and a spectator entered the cab, picked up the weapon , and discharged it- striking another spectator sever injury and law suits are flying. Now all weapons are suspect on or around any MVs.  No Insurance- no shows.  Newc

MVPA insurance coverage cancelled

MVPA has lost it's insurance coverage for events. A member wide email explained the occurance that 'triggered' this decision. An unattended personal weapon left in an MV, was found and discharged by a spectator-wounding another spectator.  Now all weapons at MV events are suspect. Newc
