Thanks for the info! Now I can search for photos and details on the truck. Found this today on anouther forum. These trucks were 'kits' from what I read. They were assembled later in the field?

My grandfather Eugine Hendrix Served with the AEF 2nd division in France and Germany in 1918-1919. In this photo he is the passenger. I am wondering the make of truck it was. Anyone have a clue on this from the photo? Thanks

Your mission, and you have no choice about accepting it! Is to produce at the club house a British Mk IV male. This will excuse you from latriene duty, so well worth it.:n00b:
I truely would enjoy building a mark IV someday. Shipping it somewhere overseas would bankrupt me. lol Thanks for offering me the challenge though. The price of gas keeps me near home alot more nowdays.

I'm impressed by your project and look forward to learning more. What motor do you have in your FT17 ?
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! The tank is powered by a Continental F227 inline gasoline 6 cylinder flathead engine. The tracks are from an old Cletrac HG farm dozer. The hull is mostly 1/8 and 1/16 thick steel on a box tube frame. Very little wood used. I wanted a metal feel to it.

Hi everyone. Im from Indiana and have a huge interest in old tanks and armour. I have been working with my son on a 3/4 replica AEF FT17 from WW1. Its not 100% correct, but as close as I have been able with my abilities and resources. I am a member of a free community of like minded individuals that are creating their own small tank recreations. You can check us out at www.scaledtanks.com or just look for stuff about our work on youtube. I will have questions for many of you all to answer as I am working on some new projects and doing alot of research for them. Talk to you more soon.
You wont get these..

The second one looks like a BT2 or 5 or 7 with a strange upper hull. The third also maybe a BT. Its missing the extra set of wheels a T34 would have.
