  1. Thanks for the foto!

Hopefully more will show up, is this the foto out of the Olyslager book?

hi, i think this is vehicle in question, as previously said , this truck belonged to drinkwater sabey, the crane is not original but the a frame behind the cab and the two restraining cables attached to the bumper are original, this design was intended to lift heavy chemical containers for the chemical unit attached to the american forces, hope of interest, tony g
  2. Hi guys,

I'm new here. What a cool stuff to see and very impressed by the restorations some of the members are doing at the moment.

I'm restoring vws for 13 years now and since the retirement of my father a few years back I got involved in military vehicles from WW2. We work on them together.

Since I'm always hunting for old vw buses, I sometimes come across old military vehicles during the many "picking" trips I make around Europe.

I like finding them, do some work on them and sell them on milweb.

Some vehicles I personally own wich are not for sale are a WW2 VW kubelwagen, BMW R75, Steyr 50 and a Sherman M4A4 in need of a lot of love.

I hope this forum comes in handy when I have some questions during the resto and I'll try to post some fotos if I found a new treasure during the picking trips:)

Have fun and keep restoring those vehicles!
