The Aberdeen Tigger was over from Munster for a tarting up by Mr. W's team.
I believed it to have already winged it's way back to Aberdeen, (though it may still be in storage as I recall the original plane that was going to take it home had a little accident, that was a fair while back though).
The rumour-mill implied that there was to be some blueprinting done during it's stay in Leicestershire, with the thought of building a replica... but hey, that's the rumour-mill, so you never really know .
Cheers,
Adam.

Thanks for the pics, kind of sad to be reminded of what a great museum it was.
Does anybody know where that 2Pdr portee Bedford (?) from shot number one might have ended up?
Cheers,
Adam.

Green-eyed inducing collection though it is, it seems it's not actually Charlton heston's but belonged to one 'Bruce Stern'.

As Great war Truck says, it was covered in W&T a while ago, work done around 89/90 with as many of the original manufacturers as possible contributing replica parts.
(If anybody wants to read the W&T article, I'd be happy to scan it in and email if you send me a PM. For those with a set, it's issue #35)
'Mephisto' in Brisbane is the only 'real' survivor.
