Sorry forgote to say my one is 46DM59 and also has the cut windscreen hindges but this was for air-portability to fit inside Britannia and Argosy aircraft. Also for heavy dropping out of an Argosy as per EMER Wh Veh Q 027 Mod Instr Index No 20.

Hello,
Glade to see another 40amp being done up, I was lucky my one had all the electrics working when I got it but it took me a while to get the rest of the bits I wanted.
I have a few photos on flickr if your interested.
Enjoy, Dave

Hello,
I have owned my Rover 8 FFR 40 amp (46 DM 59) since I was 15 (some 17 years ago), it was blue and had all the military kit removed, but was still running on its origional electrics. 2 years ago I did the last of the restorations where I took all the bodywork back to bare metal and re galvanised the steel bits, since then its been to the War and Peace show a few times and has Larkspur radios in the rear and tows a 1/2 ton Brokhouse trailer.
I live in Deal, Kent and I'm also a member of the EMLRA, Dave
