Hi Andy. I can make plastic resin shells. Are these 155 or 105 shells. I already have the mold made for the 155s. See photos. I can do any caliber as long as an original can be found to make the initial mold from.

I wonder if anyone can aim in the right direction for the following parts .

 

I'm after the studs that hold the radiator grill and canvas screen in place, the vehicle has been in bits that long can't find the damn things :undecided:, a steering wheel nut ,also the following part as in the picture for the dynamo .It's the actual fibre/mica insulators that I need but if anyone has the whole piece they would like to sell I'll take the lot :-) .

 

Or is there a refurbisher of Dynamos who could possibly sell this part separate as the rest of the Dynamo is fine , also after the handbrake and gear lever boot , I'm sure I've seen someone making the repo's of these .

 

I've tried Chris Mortar and Norman at Bygone Bedfords but no luck .

May i asked who made your canvas, and what the price was?

At the moment i am restoring a Morris C8 and all the canvas is missing, so i need a full set and have bnot found a company yet who could do this without an example.

Sorry to trouble you but found your post via google - do you still have your L16 / 81mm ?? I ask because there is an SAS event at Hereford on the 8th October this year and the people organising it are desperate to find one to display on stage.

It is the lauch of a book on the Mirbat battle and 3 of the original guys will be present including the guy who fired the 81mm.... if you would like to be involved please give us a call and I will pass on your details to the organiser. We are providing our 25lb field gun and are traveling quite a distance just to be a part of it, I know there is funding for petrol etc.
