  1. Hi,

     

    I have a factory Diesel Marmon, Another change was to the floor and engine access in the cab. the cover for the diesel is about twice the size of the petrol I guess the Diesel is longer and taller.

    there was also a rumor that the steering column was changed but I have never compared the two.

    On the diesel the air pump is a stand alone unit bolted to the chassis driven by duel belts from the front crank pulley.

  3. On the Drivers side door of my SUMB is a printed sheet giving the Tyre pressures for the 10.50 x 20's 50psi is a tad on the high side

    previous owner was running at around 50psi I have set it to 2.7 and 2.9 bar and it rides a lot nicer on the road

  4. Just Joined HMVF I have had an interest in Military Vehicles for some time and have spent quite a lot of time fixing old Land Rovers. I now have an SUMB and am starting to take it to Steam fairs and Military show in the South east of England.
