Is it a 2 pinion or 4 pinion diff?? I think in either case , the pinion shaft slides out the back of the housing so the diff head will need to come out and be set up again by someone competant to do so. Good luck..Pete
Thanks Pete
Finally got the nut out by drilling a hole down the side and using a punch. It is currently on the way back together, just waiting to set up the backlash

Does have anyone have any tips for dismantling a WC Differential. Everything is out except the outer pinion bearing which is behind the Pinion Bearing Retaining Nut. The lock screw is out and I made a tool to remove it but it does not want to move.
Any suggestions or does anyone have a diff assembly they would like to dispose of

Does anyone know what size and type of fastener are used to attach the Dodge Command Car Seats to the frames.
Also are they screwed through the frame as various photos suggest from the back?
Thanks

Thought it was about time I joined. I've had a Willys MB for 30 years now, purchased as a teenager and although I have had some shiny cars in between the wife has just convince me to buy a Command Car....whole new set of sockets required!

Very sad. As an 18 year old I remember visiting the Motor Pool looking for parts for my Willys MB. He had endless patience to put up with what seems a tiny list of parts limited by my student grant which we then had to drive to one of his garages to get.
He leant me parts to copy as I couldn't afford them and I remember when I needed a new crown wheel and pinion he gave me a WOF axle and said take the parts you need and bring me back the case and diff cover...all for £35!
