The 51 is, but that will mean the 54 is as well. Though when it comes to vehicles imported like Katy, surley at least an intial road saftey test will be needed?
why is the wc51 mot exempt? i was told mine is but i cant work out why!!

hi, i wonder if anyone could offer some advice please.
i am looking to buy a tent that would look suitable with a dodge wc51.
about 9-12 feet long and tall enough to stand in, where is the best place to get one and roughly what should i expect to pay?

not sure yet more than likely a dodge wc of some description, but mabe a GMC.
depends what catches my eye!!
may do a early forties car as a civilian contract staff car.
i will have to wait and see what comes along, at the moment i am driving a '58 caddy coupe, i may have to sell it to finance something more military!!

hi
i am new to the forum and to military vehicles. scince childhood i have had an interest in ww2 us vehicles, but a real passion for us civillian vehicles, this has been an absolute obsession for the last twenty something years. i have spent my whole working life restoring vintage vehicles and owned more forties and fifties cars than i care to mention here. (mostly from across the pond). i now feel that the time is right to diversify a little and get something more military! as yet i am not sure what exactly, but i will know it when i see it.
thanks for viewing this post.
