The constant spam is such a sad sight to see for this once cared for and much-loved show. It all feels so corporate now. I hope the new owners do change their tune and make it feel like it once was. It is obvious they need to make money, but do it in a way that doesn't annoy everyone. I actually work in marketing for a large firm and we wouldn't dare email customers with repeated or spam content on such a daily basis. The whole thing screams amateur and it is clearly being done by someone who thinks they know how to this job. Some training is required I think before someone ends up reporting it... if they haven't done so already!!  

it will be so much better if it returned to the hop farm ,twenty odd quid for a day ticket and mops cant even see whats happening in the arena !!!!:cry:

I am sure the viewing of the arena issue will be fine-tuned. The 2013 show was obviously the first one at the new venue so there was always going to be downsides and issues to solve. I think it is fair to say that everyone expected some issues. I stay on-site all week and prefer it over the Hop Farm.

I cant see what all the fuss is about, we all know the conditions. Its down to everyone to make the decision to attend or not, it is not closing and that I can guarantee we know will be final. It would be hell on earth if it was cancelled one day before the public arrive. Everyone is settled in now and the teams are working hard to make sure its safe and up to standard. Give em a break.

Im sure this show will be cancelled very shortly on Health and Safety grounds,I cannot see the public being allowed to enter the site considering the state of the site and rain on its way for another 2 days

It wont be cancelled. I did hear they are thinking of opening to the public on Thursday though (could be a rumour). Not over fussed anyway as I am onsite all week regardless of mud

Hi, I am a 2nd world war collector from Kent. Currently, I am 16.

I am working with my father to restore our 1944 GPW Jeep then hopefully will be moving onto larger projects such as a GMC.

Unlike many other kids my age (well from my area at least) I took on the task of helping restore these vehicles instead of getting caught up in the crime and nasty other things sadly associated with a lot of kids in my age group. I can gladly say I will never be like them!

Military vehicles have been in my blood for as long as I can remember and when we got our first vehicle, the Jeep it became instantly my most favourite thing in the world (apart from my family).

Well there you have it that is my short introduction, cant wait to get posting
