Where as the war and peace buzz gone??

No more fantastic breakfasts at the Air port cafe
-
ALL parts are available, 2 pipes,1 elbow, and gaskets, one per side, little bit of jointing compound, keep it original.
the elbow can crack, make sure you clean both sides of the hull, before refitting gaskets, nothing worse than finding you have a small blow.

Fuel gauges on ferrets are prone to tank sender units, check connections first.

You, should be able to, replace the cork seal, check for excessive corrosion and refit. I would just replace the cork seal.
IF you do get a N O S fuel tap, you still may end up replacing the seal, being perished with time.

I Have breakdown cover for both of my ferrets thru A FLUX, JUST make sure in the small print that your vehcile does not require a mot, read the small print.(for breakdown cover)
gerneral conditions, no 10, could be a pain in the Axxx, when you are stuck on the side of the road.

HI All,
Does a MK 1 ferret, after 1960 require a MOT,if not reason why?
Local DVLA said it should have a MOT.

FUEL LEAK GPW JEEP
in American Vehicles
Posted
Good afternoon,
A BIT OF ADVICE PLEASE, I HAVE A 1942 GPW JEEP, WITH A CARTER CARBURETTOR, WHEN I PRIME THE FUEL SYSTEM WITH FUEL PUMP, A FUEL LEAK IN NOTICED
COMING FROM A DRILLING/HOLE FROM THE CARBURETTOR BODY, IF I PUMP THE THROTTLE PEDAL WITH THE ENGINE ON OR OFF, I STILL HAVE FUEL LEAKING OUT OF THE HOLE, BUT NOT AT IDLE.
SO HAVE I A BLANKING PLUG GONE MISSING OR IS A GOOD BLOW WITH THE AIR GUN REQUIRED,
IT IS ON THE ACCELERATOR PUMP SIDE, OR A NEW PLUNGER AND SEAL REQUIRED, OR JUST BUY A NEW CARBURETTOR,
THANKS IN ADVANCE
ROB.
