Well I've not seen our ghost. But I've seen it's effects. You see It likes to help out occasionally. I've been sat typing at my PC here and it's put the light on. It's even put the landing light on for the missus.

It also likes to take the p**s. On one occasion I'd put my blow torch down. I went to get it later it was gone. I searched the garage high and low. My son in law searched the garage high and low. My missus searched the garage high and low. Next day it was there stood on top of my pedestal drill. I couldn't not have seen it. Because I had to take stuff off the shelves above the drill to search for it.

Oh and I had a small mongrel dog. Tori. A more loving dog you could never see. When I had my heart attack. The para medics were doing the good hiding battery charger bit. Tori decided to sit on my chest to protect me.

Sadly old age, diabetes and auto immune disease got the better of her. Thing is I still see her. She follows me up stairs, she follows me into the bed room and opens the toilet door just like she used to.

We rescued another pup. and one day me and the missus we being nosey looking out of a bedroom window when the pup came into the room. so I spoke to her. Who you talking to my missus asked Tina I said. Tina's still down stairs she says.

Imagination, wishfull thinking, Tori made a lot of people cry for a long time when she left us. She still does 3 years on. Is it just memories.

I got fined £50 for being shot at. Three rounds hit the watch tower I was in. I was on the floor in a second. Looking for a white hanky to tie to my SLR. Sarn't comes out. Shouts can you see the gunflashes.

Thanks. Its too late for me. they can't fix my problems now but there are loads of others old and new that are going through the fight of trying to get treatment.

A car smash finished the job. So I get a war pension which makes me sound hard. 8-)

Most of the shows I've been to are combined stuff. I was into classic cars till I couldn't work on em anymore. so the bigger shows had military vehicles too.

I would say my interests lie in the 60's 70s stuff. Off course RAC related

I'm a newbie so I'll apologise straight off if this violates protocol.

I've started two E Petions on the governments website. Nothing controversial. Just asking that the NHS honour it's 1953 agreement to provide war pensioners with priority treatment for their attributable injuries.

The other basically the same. Asking other government departments to respect veterans rights.

I just want the government to take note that they cant treat veterans like something they stood in.

Hi all

Matty here. I'm a 53 year old ex squaddie. did my time with the 13th/18th royal Hussars, on Chieftains, Scorpions, I drove a Cent once and the occasional land rover.

I was also in the LI as a TA soldier

I'm a wannabe military vehicle owner. But ill health (through service) put the blocks on that. Oh and the fact that I'm a bit big doesent help.
