thanks for the positive input .when i got her she had a snapped crank in the 2 1/4 diesel .fixed that and ran it for aporox 8 year as a working truck and camper .that engine got very tiered so fitted a recon engine .has overdrive fitted no faster only reduses noise 65 flat out .pikies stole the engine that i got with her :mad:.and the doors.luckily i had removed the interior fittings .it allso has dormobile roof and seats . i have had loads of old landys this was the second i got .still have a few.hear are a few pics. with ref to the t plate on sill their was 3/4" ply on the floor in front of rear seats paint underneath is like new.

Hi Terryo Jim's Mrs here,I've just made one for his Sankey (pics if u want).I could you make another but have no idea what they are worth. don't have army canvas though, we use PVC (fully waterproof+ rot-proof), various colours available. Post may be rather expensive; we're in the Pennines. Have trailer for measurements.

looking for drive sprockets. wheel rims. track parts. warning plate of dash. headlights and a wombat.
FORUMS FORUM has lots of very good info but wrong side of pond for for parts .tyres seem to be a problem original sizes 600x100 and 400x4 6ply, this one will only be a toy so going to try vauxhall space saver 115x70x16 and moblity scooter 400x4 4ply tyres .if spockets not available i can make them out of u.h.m.w.p.e which is a hard plastic, or can cast them in ally.

hi for land rover tyres. foot of hi lift jack on tyre and toe under front bumper and use weight of vehicle.may need heavier vehicle.but works most times.have also seen a curved length of bar welded to foot of jack to fit next to rim on tyre bead.
