Tim Thats what I thought - But thats what i was told by the man in charge - they were just about to cut the breech on the Daimler. Maybe someone on here can let us know the situation/rules etc on exporting armour to the USA. Bob.

Jim Very nice rig - Saw a nice Sherman similer to yours at a dealers in Kent recently - I think its going to the states though, along with a Daimler Armoured Car and an Abbott - A bit more history being lost - Shame !!. Cheers. Bob.

Hi All Thought I should say hello - I joined some time back and have enjoyed reading and learning bits and pieces from very knowledgeable people on here. I have always been Interested in Military vehicles - but started to own them about 12 yrs ago - I have owned and restored WW2 Jeeps and Ferret's + L/Rovers. Currently running a L/R 90 Soft Top Diesel - May be moving it on soon due to being bitten by the Armour bug again. Cheers Bob.
