  1. Hi, do you know, where the wheels Hering 3x19 was used (for which vehicle?)? I know, that the similar wheel was used for germany infanteriekarren IF8, but without thick skirt for the hubcap. My wheels have it and I think, that it must be from same pre war car.

  2. Thank You Wally, hmm, ...."When assembling split-skirt pistons onto the connecting-rod it is important that the split side of the skirt is on that side which bears against the cylinder during the compression stroke, so that the unsplit - and stronger-side takes the greater side-thrust during the power strokes"....but I am not technically able:c) and my not very goog english :c). What means "split side of the skirt is on that side which bears against the cylinder during the compression stroke?" - it is in compliance with my previous sketch, isn´t it?

The function of split-skin piston I understand now-the piston can be tighter in the cylinder when it is cold.

  3. Hi, I restore my opel 1.2l and I would like to ask you. I have piston with vertical gap (for cooling of piston). I dont know the orientation of piston in engine. The gap (cutting) on pistom must be in orintation of rotation of crankshaft or in oposite (generally)?

    Thank you for your opinion.

  4. Hi, I am (un)normal (it say my girl friend:c) ) gay, which is interessed in old car and motocycle. I have same vehicles after restoration, same before restoration. I prefere czech vehicles, but I have same abroat vehicles too (my vehicles are from cca 1935 to 1980). I am not specialised to military vehicle, but I like this too (but I dont have it). In my free time, I am doing the function of the testing commissioner of historic vehicles.

  5. But, I am not sure, if this car was built for training of drivers (for example of drivers of real tanks), or it was built as a dummy simulating real tank/amoured car (but, why they used opel p4, it is very small car??? )
