  1. Range Rover all the way, if you can stretch it go for a TDV8 they are awesome!!!

Just got a brand new Freelander XS myself and it is marvellous, nothing like the old ones, eats motorways and got all the off road shenaniggins of its bigger brothers.

  2. I would def recommend the guys at green spark plug, they found me a distributor cap when I had exhausted just about every other source, worldwide!!!! It was reflected in the price obviously but well worth it.

really helpful bunch, just give them a buzz or send an email and they will come back to you.

  3. Apart from a bit of rust they aren't that tight to be honest. Bear in mind they are intended to be pushed out by ice

Screw a good self tapper/tec screw right through the core plug, then using a slide hammer or similar whack them out. If you don't have a slide hammer, clamp mole grips onto screw head and knock back with hammer. There's a chance a claw hammer with a bit of packing under it may draw them out?

Clean hole out, find a drift or a socket or something that is a good fit tight to the inside well of the core plug and then gently tap them in to refit.

I think there's one in the back as well? best to do them all

  4. I know I have posted previously elsewhere but I cant find it!!!!

I need a good front drivers side wing and a good bonnet for a fordson ET6 restoration, also some back mudguards to suit 650x20 tyres if anyone has anything.

A chap did post previously to say he may have access to some breakers but I cant find his details.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Many thanks

    MATT

  5. Hi there, my name is Matt, I'm 34 from Bradford West Yorkshire, main love is Off Road Racing in my specially built race car.

Joined the forum as we have just had a purchase for my dads retirement project, Fordson Thames ET6 504E, with the costcutter 4 cyl petrol. No documents but we have the chassis plate and the numbers all match.

Whilst removing it from the farm yard it was nestling in we started having a poke about and discovered under various layers of paint what appeared to be an "RAF" or "Navy" blue colour looks like the original colour?

The chassis plate has a space with WD Number wrote at the side but no number stamped in?

Can anyone shed any light on it for me?????????
