Hi Jack
What is the earliest day we can camp on the field. We are wondering if we can get on the Monday or Tuesday so we can set up tents and cam nets. As we are travelling from the North East we would like to make a week of it to take in things of military interest in the area whilst we are there. Also as we would be there early we would be happy to be of assistance to anyone setting up the show should it be needed.

No problems!
1. At this moment in time my focus is fulfilling funding for help with the tank owners. If there is some left then it will be divided throughout the rest of the armour. My goal is to be able to help everyone if I can but can not guarantee that.
2. Breakfast and dinner - we will be on the road at lunch times on both days.
3. Yes please, go ahead and book now and send the details to me as soon as you get them as I have to make sure all vehicles are all above board.
Hi Jack
Thanks for the above information. Sorry to bother you again but I completed the booking form and when I went to submit it, it came up as sorry this form can only be submitted once. As far as I know I have not submitted it previously. Is there anyway you can let me know if my M3A1 white halftrack and low loader have been booked. I have managed to pay the booking fee of £40 for 2 people

OK folks all the bugs now sorted and the A&E 2012 booking form is now live!
Hi Jack
I have looked at the booking page and have a few questions for you as follows
Is there any finance for half track vehicles as there is with tanks to help with fuel costs
The £20 booking fee which among other things include breakfast and dinner could you please let me know if dinner is the lunch time meal or the evening meal (it can mean either where i live).
I am in the process of obtaining verification for my halftrack and therefore do not yet have a registration number, will it be okay to book now and forward the registration number at a later date once recieved.
Best regards

Welcome aboard. The new and A&E website is on the list of jobs to do - once it is up and open you can register online as I am becoming overwhelmed with armour applications and having a job to keep up :sweat:but what I might do for now is just use the old site - just for applications.
Any questions then please just fire away!
Best wishes,
Jack.
Hello Jack
Been searching for the form to register for A & E 2012 but it doesnt seem to be on. Tried going direct to 'pay now' to see if that would bring up the form but paypal are saying 'this recipient cannot take payments at this time' ??. Please can you let me know how I can register and pay
I was also wondering if you have put me on the list from my previous post to you earlier in the year (1942 M3A1 Halftrack)
As it is a 750 mile round trip from the North East and the petrol prices are shooting up I think I had better start saving:rotfl:

Sorry for the delay in posting these pictures - It's been a cold winter and I haven't been able to do as much as I might have liked.
As you can see I've moved inside now, and am trying to press on. Hopefull I'l be able to post more photos in a month or so.
Thanks to those who have responded to the photos. In reply to M5Clive - yes, this is one of those halftracks.

A friend of ours from the 100th Bomb Group, Jessie the Jeep, posted some pictures some time ago of my halftrack. I'd like to bring you up to date with some of the pictures. As I generally work outside I lost four months over winter, due to not having a covered working area. Now 3 or 4 of us have now gotten together and got a workshop/unit which is lit and heated, so I have been able to press on with the rebuild to this stage. Great forum, and thanks for the welcome. P.S. Will keep you up to date as time goes on.
