  2. Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone happens to have any quantity of snatch Land Rover spares as I'm going to need a fair few bits rather soon. Or is anyone breaking one?

Plus I need a full barracuda camo set for one???

    Best regards

  3. Hi all,

It's that time of year again to get the jeep insured and was wondering who is best to use. I'm with carol nash at moment and the price is £206 which I don't think is too bad.

  4. Hi all,

Now I know a few years ago this was covered in length when the rules were first coming in to force. I was just wondering what the rules actually are on bring post war armour through France to Calais to bring home Has anyone any experience on this?

  5. Rick,

Just been trawling through this thread on the old girl and was just wondering how you planned on plugging the holes on the turret. Would it just be a case of dress the hole then stick some different diameter bar and weld the outer edge then dress the hole again. Not that it's quite that simple.

Sorry for digging up a old thread just thought I'd ask.

How is the Churchill getting on?

    All the best

i was in shrewsbury yesterday collecting a new starter motor for the cromwell and while i was down there i thought it was about time i picked up the turret for the churchill (nearly 3 years after i bought it). although the back has been badly shot up the rest was in great condition, i can't wait to start restoring it but the cromwell and t16 have to come first maybe later on in the year i'll make a start on it.
  6. Hi all,

So just sat here looking at pics etc and after all these years it has finally dawned on me that even though the sexton is right hand drive as opposed to the shermans left hand drive they still use the same transmission. So my question being what did they have to do to convert it to make it compatible with with the right hand drive etc.

    Many thanks

    Kyle
