I was doing a clean up in the garage and opened a box of old books, in it was a workshop manual

for a:-

1942 2 1/2 ton 6x6 United States Army Truck - Models CCKW 352 & 353. Published in 1942.

Don't know if that would be of any interest to any one.

Hi there, thought I would introduce myself, my name is Ron and I am from Melbourne Australia,

I did spend a couple of years in the Army back in the 60's we had National Service in Australia in those years, how did I come to be on this forum, well I have always been a bit of a car enthusiast including trucks,

I was having a garage clean up the other day and opened a box of old books, there was a book in there

a maintenance manual/vehicle handbook for a 1942 GMC 6x6 US Army Truck so I sat done and started browsing it and thought what an interesting old vehicle, so I did a search for forums that might have had some info on old military trucks and vehicles, so her I am. Look forward to exploring the site.
