  1. My name is Charles I will be 63 years old, infact I am a pickelhaube collector and interested in first WW.

    My grandfather started in 1944 to deal with the Britich and US army surplus trucks cranes, trailers etc.. we got everything in that mater I stopped the buisness in the '80, than I went into real estate. Two years ago I got the nostalgie back of our wrecker and the truck who was the perférer a DiamondT M 20, so I bought a close cab from the Belguim army, than the virus got me bach, and the problems started, restoration !! I got in contact with some nice people and wend to important shows looking for spares to compleet the trruck still looking for more spares for my second diamond an open cab I bought the Rogers Trailler and a wrecker Diamond 6x6 meanwille My E-mail adress henri.vanhoenacker@pandora.be

  2. Part 1 – Delivery and Assessment

    After many years of searching for the right T I bought a 980 in April this year. I was always looking for a vehicle requiring a degree of restoration but without major alteration. So an original cab and engine if possible were the boxes to tick, as was the lack of ballast box mods which are so common with ex recovery vehicles. It is an early vehicle (no.373) which has been verified by the MVT as being manufactured in August 1941. At purchase it was unregistered but I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of which the DVLA handled the registration application.
