  1. Hi! After many years without I finally have another Mung!! Not just any Munga tho....but the one my father and I owned and renovated back in 1989!!! It's the very sad looking one on Ebay!!! Had to have her back tho!!! So begins lots of hard work!!!! Any encouragement, advice and help will be gratefully received !!!! Pics posted soon!!!

  2. bit of a long shot but thought I'd try........is there anyone in the Taunton/Bridgwater area who would fancy picking up a load of primary school kids on Tuesday afternoon an taking them for a ride.......I was thinkin GMC Reo or dodge......open backed.....Its an end of primary school treat for my daughter and classmates!!!My Austin isnt up to the job at the mo!!!!

  3. Evening All!! I'm looking to get a new canvas / tarpaulin for my K6!! Now I've spoken to the very helpful Allied Forces re having a canvas made,but i'm also going to explore a Tarpaulin/sheet as well. Anyone got any ideas??

  4. It is still there to the best of my knowledge, but I would guess it is completely rotten through. Back end is in a worse state than the visible front. I really would be surprised if anybody could find anything salvagable from it.

     

    If the 'individual' (I'm not allowed to make bad comments on here :) ) who owns it is willing to let it go how much shall I offer him for it on your behalf?

     

     

    To be honest it,s the front I'm interested in...mine has had the front shocks cut off!!!!!!! Price wise I havn't a clue I know a comlpete sound one went for about £600 a month or two ago!?!?

     

    But I would be very interested!! Whereabouts are you????

    my friend, owner, David is very skilful, on my garden, Austin start and run with own engine power to new position

     

    for full reconstruction!

     

    And tipper is full function!

    Thought I would pop some pics of my K6 on!!!.......mainly to give myself a kick up the rear to get on with her restoration!!!!

     

    She was originally a bomb platform and with that in mind does anyone know what colour / markings she would have had!?!?!?!?!?:nut:

  7. Guys!

     

    Don't know if this is of any help (or has already been mentioned)but when I had Mungas always used a chap called Richard Nixon for spares...he was/is the Munga rep for the auto union/DKW club, I last spoke to him about 3-4 years ago and got bits from him. He now advertises regularly on Milweb in the Motorcycles section(Can-Ams)!
