Of course you know hwy they are called OY's? :-D OY ain't it working this time?

At the moment none of its working.the engine is seized solid,I have taken the head off only to find that two of the bores were full of water.I have stripped of the front ready for lifting the engine out hopfully this weekend.

Would like to meet anyone who has a Bedford OY and lives in the east midlands,as this is my latest project and it would be nice to have some help on hand.

I don't have a problem with it, and, as it is not one of the "Measham" batch it looks remarkably good. Well done for keeping it going. Are you coming to the Gipsy Club rally near Halifax next weekend?

Remember, Jeeps and Landrovers are common as muck, a Gipsy is something special.

 

No I cant make it to halifax as the gipsy has a steering box problem (it goes where it wants to not where I want it to).

I am the guy who owns this gipsy you seem to have a problem with.

Maybe I should have left it rotting in the yard where I found it rather then spend 3 years of my life putting it back togeather and trying to keep these rare trucks going.
