many thanks that really helped ..i wasnt sure whether it was pos or neg earth..also the bike came without a battery and a couple of loose wires so all sorted now all lights work and charging... heres a couple of photos .am really happy with the bike..just need to sell the RE WD/C now to pay for it

Would any body help me out with a wiring diagram for my Velocette MAF or point me in the direction where i can get one or what manual i should look for with this bike
it came without a battery, which i have now got ,,and just trying to get the lights to work etc.
Any help would be great

hi does anyone have or know where i can get keycard information i am looking to trace some letters and numbers stamped on my bike any help would be appreciated

Butler tail lamps (ex WD) used on Austin Champ and vintage Bedford's £80
Ex WD original Butler tail lamps, used on Austin Champ as a blackout side lamp, some motorcycles and vintage Bedford's, supplied in a red oxide finish the lamp is 90mm long x 58mm wide x 50mm tall, with a 14mm dia x 38mm long hollow mounting stud. Fitted with a BA15d small globe double filament bulb. Top cover secured with a slot/hex screw and sealed with a cork gasket, red lens is 22mm in dia and housed in a separate hexagon bezel. Very nice small neat lamps which is comes in its original waxed packaging and will need cleaning.

chaps i have an wd/c Royal Enfield 1941which i have found to be a bit small for my legs ...my question is.. which other war dept bike might suit my 6 foot + height..are Enfields smaller than say BSA etcim new to this age of bike any pointers rgds geoff
