  1. That's handy to know, I've seen various types in our photographic archives but none quite like this.

Normally they are mounted on to 4 wheels. I've got a photo somewhere where there's one precariously balanced on the back of a truck.

They're listed as all sorts of things like control cabins, scientific office/lab/workshop, health control, there's even a bespoke camera trailer.

  2. Has anyone ever seen one of these trailers with an observation platform? Screenshot_20220824_002352.thumb.jpg.319c557411e75e665b91c36eb805df73.jpg

I'm guessing it's a version of the brockhouse workshop trailer, I just wondered if anyone has more details and information on different types of these cabins.

Not been able to access the site yet to do a full assessment but recently got sent some photos. I have been informed there are 3 in total, all in similar condition.

One other interesting thing I've been told by the chap who found the first one while working on the site 10+ years ago is he said it was aluminium skinned? He believed that it might imply overseas usage. We are thinking they are 1950s.

So, if you know anything about these please let me know. Potentially one might be getting added to our museum collection but before I go much further I need a bit more information.

    Thank you all!
