I have been trying to finish all the odds and sods, its supprising how much time it takes, just when you think that you have finished you find something else. One of the items that i can't find pictures of, is the box that fits over the battery, assuming that there should be one. Today it's been minus degrees and snowing, so I have made the number plate mounting plates and painted stars. Tonight I need to make the census number stencil and get that painted on. I could then do with a dry sunny day to get it out and clean up but that's something I can't control.

if you look at the film Battle of Britain you will see a bedford with out the canvas on, you can see the two brackets they are at back but should be at the front.
Thanks Sparky wondered what it was for , I've not seen them on the trucks I've looked at , and there's me thinking I had a built in picnic table :-D .Dave

Hi ,they are for storing the poles for when you dont have the back canvas on .The ones that go from front to back are in two parts, and fit into the two brackets.
Sorry this is in the wrong place but cant seem to find how to post on the main chat forum .Can anyone identify what the two brackets on the front bow were used for . They fold down and look as if it could have had a fold down table fitted ?
Cheers
Dave
