thank you Ron i will give that a go,nice to have another Dorset bike this is my first military machine restoration it will join my comp g3c.

Can anybody help help me to work out the census number for a g3l frame number 28655 it seems to be from contract number c11102 but i can't work out a number how do you do this?i would like to return this machine back to its ww11 finish any help welcomed.

p.s i think it has the wrong tank?
