Hi all,
Rebuilding my 73 lightweight GS and was wondering if anyone knows of any GS spec that had either the dexion later in service or the removable radio rack/ table/ roof ( the name will come to me!)
Mine lead a sheltered service life in VSD’s in Northern Ireland until struck off in 79.
Was thinking it would make a good load area/ dog guard.thanks in advance

Hi,
the jewels are on eBay, got to order sone for mine as just stripped the speedo. Not found the rubber grommets yet tho, I might call speedograph and see if they can supply them.
i did wonder about sending it away but funds are getting low with the rebuild lol.

Hi all,
currently rebuilding my 1973 lightweight Gs, fitted with a v8 that i have owned for nearly 20 years but never did much to it until this year, full rewire, paint etc
At some point when funds allow it will get a 2 1/4 again, promise! Reg is 19FM37, it spent all its service life in a VSD in Ireland until 1979.
I also own 88KE54 Land Rover 110, which is my day to day work vehicle, fitted with a 200tdi to keep up on today’s roads! Was based at Benson along with a few others.
Looking for bits and pieces for both and can hopefully help others too.Lots of other Land Rover products in my household too.
Work wise I tend to work on Land Rover products, along with decorating and maintenance work.
Thanks
Don

Hi, I’m in Gloucestershire, near Bourton on the water.
I have been thinking of fitting some as it makes a good “dog guard” plus it’s somewhere to mount/ hang things.
want to keep it original ( ish, v8 currently until the engine dies or a good 2 1/4 comes my way)
