Hi Robin,
I am after some parts for my Spartan. Do you have the troop commanders seat back and bracket and the racking on the RH side behind the NBC ?
Cheers

Hello, I was wondering what battery i should use to start my Onan 3.5kva Genny? At present i am using a small car battery, but it keeps going flat. The ammeter is reading 8+ amps when running. Now i assume this is the ammeter for battey charging? But i may be wrong.
Cheers

Yep great generators, if you want a owners manaual if you contact G & M Power at Ipswich, Suffolk they will send you a copy they are very helpfull, ( www.gmpp.co.uk )
just email them and they will send you a copy of the manual.Well they did me anyway. They also stock spares for the onan generators, they use to service these gennys for the MOD.I have a few spares what are you after, I have some remote leads and also some of the fixing frames that they clamp to,I also have a tool kit, and spark plugs.
Howard.
Did you have to pay for it or was it free??

Hello,
After a bit of advice, a friend of mine has a daimler scout car that he accidently went from reverse to forwards at low speed. Alot of crunching and no drive. What do you think has broken and can you get spares for the dingo? if so who from.
many thanks

I think that this took place from Lepe on the coast of the New Forest, to IoW. We were at a MV event there and a certain red Stalwart powered by a K60 diesel went down the beach into the sea, from our vantage point above the beach, we could see it progressing fairly well until it got into a cross current. An Inshore Lifeboat went out to it as it was drifting more than making headway, eventually it seemd to make progress and we all watched till it drove up the beach on the island. The return journey was also watched and after a time it made it back to the beach only to bog down crossing the groins and had to be pulled over them, by a wrecker.
If i remember right , they camped on hayling beach, 2 stollies and a centour. i thought they went in at the hayling ferry. i think they made it to the I O W but had to beach for some reason.
