    Unusual (?) brassard

    Hi, some time ago I acquired a brassard which is marked as follows:

     

    Queen's crown

     

    Union flag

     

    CIVILIAN

     

    COMPONENT

     

     

    Has anybody any idea what it represents, who would have worn it and/or its likely age?

    Greetings everybody, I'm Chris from south Hampshire, owner of a Land Rover Wolf GS. :)

     

    Previously owned a Lightweight which I should never have sold! :cry:

     

    Also in EMLRA (11 FM 22).

     

    Not ex services but ex Merchant Navy officer including a few years in Royal Fleet Auxiliary and served on Sir Tristram carrying Army vehicles all over northern Europe. Now retired.
