the triumph is a 250cc model H2, ENGINE stamped 40 -H2 -26982
FRAME is stamped TL 31889
under seat on frame is stamped T.E.C 8-42
So i am assuming its a civilian model? although frame is khaki under the black. any ideas maybe war frame with earlier engine.

brought a box of bits and a frame which could be wartime civilian build, although frame is dark green under the black paint, i usually ride a 1953 panther so this pre war triumph is much smaller but with a heavy frame.will post in motorcycles info so hopefully can get an idea of its age. andy (in leicester)

whilst rebuilding my triumph 3hw i came acrodss a threaded hole 5/8 x 18 unf which should contain a crankcase breather. does anyone know of a supplier as i have a threaded hole and no crankcase breather parts at all, i do have a bolt to fill hole but doubt that would help. any help most appreciated.
