Was ondering if anyone could shed any light on a Div sign I found recently on one of our Willys M38's?
Bought this Jeep last year and noticed the tailgate was rotten through at the bottom, so having a spare decided to change it over, when I removed the Jerry can bracket off the back I found this marking underneath. Have spoken to two of her previous owners who had no idea it was there, this means it has been there atleast since the mid seventies.
Have not been able to find any info at all on line, though I did find out that the Americans did equip some Koreans during the Korea conflict and they were known as the Tiger Division. The name 'wild thing' is also painted on the front of the screen and one previous owner said he found this and painted it in again.
Any info or ideas greatly apreciated.

Just wanted to briefly say hi and to introduce ourselves.
Have been on steel soldiers for some time now and got thinkin how great a UK site would be! Then found this site.....
My name Is Dan, I work with my Father and brother and we run a small engineering business in suffolk. We all suffer badly from what we call the 'Green Mist' this is where anything old and green comes along and we just have to inspect/photograph/buy/drive it etc etc... MV's are really just a hobby but we do take on fabrication work from time to time and have rebuilt a few jeep tubs in our time... much better than just fitting a new one!!!
We collectively own:
Willys MB 1944
Willys M38 MC x3
Hotchkiss M201
Dodge WC 52 Weaponscarrier
Dodge WC 53 Carryall
M1009 Chevy Blazer
M54a2 Reo 5 ton Cargo
M819 Reo 5ton dump
Kaiser M715
Bedford MJ Hiab

I like Hummers too but they are way too expensive for what you get! Buy a Chevy Blazer for the same price as a set of Hummer tyres and get the same gorgeous V8 Diesel sound for a FRACTION OF THE COST! You will also stay nice and dry, be able to hold a conversation and even listen to the radio in your MV!

Hi There,
We have a Kaiser M715, 1968 which we are planning to transplant a 6.2 V8 into. It currently has a Ford D series 6cyl in. Nice trucks which you dont see over here very often.

With reference to WYJ 635 above....
Wow! shes looking fantastic! I used to own this truck a few years ago and its great to see them still going strong! This truck featured in a 'Time Team' programme in 1998 during the recovery of a B-17G Flying fortress from marshland in Norfolk and was driven by Tony Robinson! (Baldrick)
