I don't envy you doing this stuff at home without access to gantry cranes and track winches.

Interesting FV107 mentions Bodgitandscarper,

I have a group of 109 FFR Land Rovers that all served together, most have a little sticker on the inside of the windscreen that reads "Drive with peace of mind, maintained by Bodgitandscarper" I wonder if its a REME thing!

 

Anyway, to vehicle names, mine were named in service after animals:

84KB11 = Polecat 3

83KB11 = Wildcat 1

86KB97 = Pinemarten 2

Must be a REME phrase. I'll ask one of the ex REME boys tomorrow

Hiya everyone I was just browsing the internet to see if I could find any pictures of CVR(T)s swimming and came across this forum.

Looks to be a very large forum and a wealth of technical data.

I've just completed my apprenticeship at ABRO now known as DSG where I am a senior craftsman and work on CVR(T)s so a lot of the site content is really quite interesting reading!
