Hi folks, Ive found in my stash of bits a couple of long OD canvas mats with a fire retardant material on one side. The NSN is H5-1080-99-130-9255 MAT HEAT EXHAUST. Each is 8' long by 21" wide and the edge is hemmed with eyelets.
Its obviously a cover for an exhaust. The DMC 'H5' is 'Camouflage Equiptment'. My mate is an instructor on warriors and reckons it might have been for the 432 exhaust - anyone any other ideas?
Thanks

hi. I can't tell you about your bike specifically but there's quite a few members in our club that are serving or are ex-serviceman, we have a few members that race the bikes for the army too. They may be able to help (although 2 are out on pre-deployment op at the mo).
Cheers
Simon

Im local to Basingstoke (Newbury) so can be a mule for info if you like. Failing that, Im sure East Kirby would be happy to provide rough measurments to see if a standard transporter would take it.
