As Wally says, this has cost the taxpayer thousands - and that includes you! I think most of us on this site are reasonably free to cast stones, given that I doubt many of us have taken advantage of our positions in such a way to the detriment of the country, the tax payer, his regiment, other collectors, those who bought his stolen goods, those who have lost their confidence and faith in buying from others. There's no such thing as a victimless crime. Not impressed with your moral compass!
Yes I'm a taxpayer and I'm well aware of the fact that his actions come at a loss to us but his case is just a spit in the ocean. Look at the millions of pounds wasted on the dinghy mob swarming across the English Channel to be housed in luxury or that bunch of pointless old farts in the House of Lords that milk the taxpayers daily. Matey is small fry as far as I am concerned. By the way, your opinion of my moral compass means absolutely nothing to me. Pete.

He's just a con-merchant who has pulled a few strokes, he's not a mass-murderer. He's got a brass neck for sure but nobody got hurt. As the old saying goes, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone". Good luck to him. Pete.

There are many iconic WW2 vehicles, If you had a diorama with a Matador towing an artillery piece, a F.A.T. Morris with a limber and artillery piece, a Tilly, Humber staff car, and a jeep parked by a tent with a few chairs a couple of tables some motor bikes, an AEC 0854 Tanker with a QL Tanker, Ford and Bedford crew buses, a selection of CMP trucks with Albion and Leyland pontoon/boat carriers.edged by a Diamond T beside a Scammel tank transporter and a recovery unit. Some iconic vehicles would still be missing. If it was the Middle East it would be a LRDG Dodge D15 being followed by a cloud of dust. Far East a Mule and Soldiers struggling through a muddy ravine. Do not forget the 150+ Fort class of ships built in Canada. One of the class was sunk in Goa by an exploding Liberty ship along with several other ships with a large loss of life.
LRDG Dodge D15, that's a new one on me. Pete.

I would say the driver of the K5 could well be wearing the Glosters cap badge by the width of it and the badge on the front of the vehicle is a direct copy of the Glosters famous back badge. I'd go with the Glosters for sure. Pete.
