-T22 Tank Burma 1944-45

Well, it's a Sherman and it has a British census number.  I can't add anything more than that - I don't know what the writing on the rear means - it could be a partially obliterated tank name like 'Salome' or 'Salop', I suppose, as SALO1 doesn't seem to mean a great deal.  Beyond that, I don't know.  I presume the picture was taken a while after the fighting and some parts of the tank have been stripped.
